Sunset, “Singing in the Rain” & Sparklers
One of the first things I’ll do for you is research on your venue, the sunset time on your special day and the sight lines available to us.
It is this way we can look to create a stunning image from your day as the sun crests the horizon and the sky turns golden.
Below are a few examples of why I make sure we do this.

Much as I’d love to, I can’t personally control the weather. Given we live in the UK rain is generally expected. But I’ve got plenty of backup plans! If it cloudy or raining don’t worry, we’re still going to be having fun!
I have FAR too many umbrellas for wedding days. If you read the article linked below you’ll find out why. But they add a little something special to your photographs, and make you forget it’s actually raining.

Or it might be that we get to have a play with some sparklers and write your names in the air. The photos below will show you what I mean.
The MOST important thing of all is that we work together: you let me know what kind of photos rock your world and I’ll do my best to make sure we do something similar.
After all, the only stupid request was the one you didn’t ask for!!!

Sunset = Time to Party
Once the sunlight has left us, and dusk appears it’s time to have a little magic! Whether it is sparklers, playing with night light or signing in the rain the evening is as important a part as the day.
